Have settled into our camp spot right behind the pool and in
between Maree & Paul and Max & Carol, a lovely spot and not too far to
walk down to the beach. The caravan park
is very lush at the moment as there is a lot of rain overnight. We were unable to camp in the spot we had
last year when we were here with Max & Carol as it is much too boggy. During the day it is nice and sunny as well
as quite warm so all good. Barry has bought himself a new fishing rod as his
last one snapped in half. Hopefully he
will have more luck with this one and catch us a nice big fish for dinner. This morning Maree insisted that I go for a
walk down to the beach as Paul told her because of a fairly high tide there
were lots of shells to be had. Yeah
right, my sneaky brother in law had written a note and put it in a wine bottle
sitting on the sand for me to find. I
have had a little drama with getting my mail delivered since being on holidays
and am not too happy with Jeff at the Paynesville Post Office. Getting the letter in the bottle was a laugh
and I did manage to collect some mail from the Mossman Post Office after being
away for 7 weeks so all is good at the moment.
