2 nice relaxing days at Douglas Daly Caravan Park, when we
arrived we were greeted with homemade scones with jam & cream for morning
tea, so very happy about that. Most of
our time here has been spent in the swimming pool. A lovely salt water pool with plenty of shade
so wander up every time we start to dry off to get wet again and cool off. Today we went for a drive further into the
Caravan Park which is actually part of a National Park. There are camp spots
available along the river and some swimming holes that look very inviting. There is one particular spot called “The
Arches” where the water flows under a huge rock formation and looks pretty
special. We have all made up our minds that we are not under any circumstance
swimming in anything except a pool. The
Northern Territory no longer cull crocodiles so apparently they are nearly in
plague proportion. We will not be
finding out……..Tomorrow we are off again and heading to Free Spirit Caravan
Park in Darwin for a week. There are
lots of things we have planned so stay tuned…………
